SACRED

These pieces center around themes of the gothic sublime and the memento mori by exploring the fine line between beauty, pleasure and pain. Through this process I explored ideas of the demonization of feminine sensuality. I was capturing visual ideas of the morbid and uncomfortable alongside that of the delicate and beautiful, illustrating the push, pull of vitality and death.
